What is EFT?

 

EFT is a very well known Meridian Energy Therapy, and it works for many conditions. It is commonly described as Psychological Acupuncture, because EFT works similarly to acupuncture, except there are no needles, you tap instead. It is also based on extensive research in quantum physics and neurobiology.

 

In EFT, it is recognised that both the mind and the body need healing at the same time, and the root of many diseases is stress, beliefs and traumas. 

Negative emotional issues as well as physical ailments rooted in an emotional issue respond very well to EFT.

 

With EFT you gently tap on stress relief points (on meridians) located mostly on your face and your hands while thinking of an emotional issue you suffer from, such as anger, fear, guilt, grief, cravings, phobia, stress, addiction, traumatic memories, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) ...

 

On-going negative emotions are the consequence of an imbalance in a person’s energy system. So by tapping on those meridians while tuning into your emotional issues you can actually rebalance your body energy with long term positive effects: the distress or turmoil that was with you (sometimes for many years) is released and replaced with peace and calm.

Your memories are still there, but they are not negatively emotionally charged anymore.

Physical ailments associated with these imbalances can subsequently disappear. EFT has had remarkable results healing constant pain, physical discomforts, migraines, chronic fatigue...

 

EFT has also helped many children and adults with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, as it

“re-calibrates” the left and the right sides of the brain.

 

EFT is safe, non intrusive, and requires NO medicines. And in some cases, one session can be enough. It is a great additional tool for counsellors, therapists, psychologists, parents ... and anyone who would like some emotional detox!
